Stanford engineers demonstrated a nanoscale device that entangles photons and electrons at room temperature using MoSe2 and patterned silicon nanostructures, enabling stable qubits without super-cooling. Brown University and partners stabilized a novel silver‑nanoparticle superlattice exhibiting deep‑strong light–matter coupling and room‑temperature entanglement, broadening access to practical quantum R&D.
